TL431LI/TL432LI is a pin-to-pin replacement of TL431/TL432. TL43xLI provides better stability, lower temperature drift (VI(dev)) and lower reference current (Iref), thereby improving system accuracy.
TL431 and TL432 devices are three-terminal adjustable shunt regulators, which can meet the specified thermal stability in the applicable automotive, commercial and military temperature ranges. The output voltage can be set to any value between Vref (approximately 2.5V) and 36V through two external resistors.

These devices have a typical output impedance of 0.2Ω. Active output circuits provide very sharp turn-on characteristics, making these devices an excellent replacement for Zener diodes in many applications, including on-board voltage regulation, adjustable power supplies, and switching power supplies. The TL432 device has exactly the same functions and electrical characteristics as the TL431 device, but has a different DBV, DBZ, and PK package pinout.
Both TL431 and TL432 devices have three levels of B, A and standard, and the initial tolerances at 25°C are 0.5%, 1%, and 2%, respectively. In addition, the low output temperature drift ensures excellent stability over the entire temperature range. The operating temperature range of TL43xxC devices is 0°C to 70°C, and the operating temperature range of TL43xxI devices is –40°C to 85°C.
