General Description ：
The G517 series is an integrated power switch for self-powered and bus-powered Universal Serial Bus (USB) applications. Several protection features include current limit and thermal shutdown to prevent heavy loads or short circuits from catastrophic switching failures that continuously increase power consumption. A built-in charge pump is used to drive the N-channel MOSFET which is the ultimate parasitic body diode to eliminate any reverse current flowing through the switch when it is powered down. When the output voltage is equal to the input voltage, the power switch is internally turned off to output the reverse voltage comparator. is an open-drain output overcurrent or reports a *temperature event with a typical 9ms deglitch* time.
