NuMicro® M23 Family – TrustZone® technology microcontroller series focusing on IoT security
TrustZone® technology with Cortex®-M23 as the core and built-in Armv8-M architecture
Nuvoton's NuMicro® M23 family is a microcontroller product with Arm® Cortex®-M23 as the core and TrustZone® technology built in Armv8-M architecture. Among them, the NuMicro® M2351 series is the first product in the family. With its safety performance and power management technology, it realizes the security application of the Internet of Things.
With the introduction of TrustZone® technology, the memory and peripheral control units in the microcontroller can be set into a secure area (Secure world) and a non-secure area (Non-secure world), which can realize data protection, firmware update and Security of program operation. In addition, thanks to the TrustZone technology of the Armv8-M architecture, the design of switching between the safe zone and the non-safe zone is realized by hardware, which not only accelerates the conversion, but also consumes more power efficiently.
Nuvoton Secure Microcontroller Platform (NuSMP) supporting Arm® PSA
The Platform Security Architecture (PSA) launched by Arm® is a complete system, from threat model analysis, security analysis, to hardware and firmware architecture specifications and open source firmware reference designs. PSA is Arm®'s solution to the security of the IoT ecosystem. It provides basic design principles and more efficient ways to build safer IoT devices.
